This is a Dedication to our Son
God Rest His Soul
Charles W. (Chuck) Crockett, Jr.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.

Earth-bound Angels

Occasionly, we are graced with the presence of an earth-bound
angel. They are usually not able to stay with us long, but while
they do, they bring unprecendented love, joy and happiness to all
they meet. They instill goodness in everything they touch.

While they are here, we take comfort in their love and we are
inspired by their example. After they go, we are left to grieve
their passing, but we must remember: While earth-bound angels
are not ours to keep, they can be invisible guides in whose
footsteps we can follow. And their light will fill the darkness
long after they have returned home.
